On January 1, 2007, a new California law Business and Professions Code sections 19985-19987 passed allowing eligible nonprofit organizations to hold "charity poker night" fundraisers. Nonprofit organizations and suppliers of equipment and/or services for such fundraising events must submit an annual registration form to the Bureau of Gambling Control for approval..

PICK A DATE





Choose a date that works for everyone, keep in mind that holidays do not work well for this type of event as some guests might be out of town or not available. Once you have got a date locked down call us and we will guide you the rest of the way (408) 213.0904




30 DAYS PRIOR





Along with choosing a date be sure to contact the D.O.J Gambling Control to obtain all the proper paper work. It will take them 30 days to approve your application and send you the certificate. Their number is 916.830.1700 or email BGCCharitableGambling@doj.ca.gov




PICK A LOCATION





Find a location that you think will work for your size poker tournament. Keep in mind that the tables and chairs that are used for the tournament take up a lot of room, so a spacious area is always good. We can always recommend a venue for you. We can assist you with Food & Beverage service too!




MARKET





Market ... Market ... Market ... Market your event as much as possible, tell co-workers, friends, family members, and be sure to tell them to tell a friend! If you can create a free website or even post it on Facebook that would be great! Put all the info on an invitation and be sure to put all levels of experience are invited.



PRIZES





Prizes are a great way to entice peoples interest in coming to your event. Choose some great prizes to give away to the top 3 players or even to the top 9 players of a final table. Ask companies around your area to donate some prizes for a good cause and maybe they will want to play to represent their company.



SPONSORS





Having the poker tables sponsored by local businesses will not only bring in more people but you might get the table for FREE! We can help you with signs for each table and who the sponsor is and while the players are moved around during the game they will see each sign at the poker tables.

Our poker tables are designed to fit most private homes and small venues. They fit 9 players comfortably with a dealer. Cards slide like you just put a coat of wax on your car. The table has a limit ring for players to place the correct bet across the limit line.



Here is what we provide for every poker tournament



POKER TABLES





We will provide you with professional grade poker tables that seat 9 players and a poker dealer. The poker tables are made from the finest casino manufactures and have custom made synthetic felts with custom design prints. They have folding legs with rubber feet to protect all types of flooring. Cup holders are built on the outer edge of the tables to protect the playing field from any liquid spillage.



DEALERS





Each poker table will be staffed with a professional dealer dressed in all black and long sleeved dress shirts. Each dealer has gone through poker training or they are currently working in a professional poker room.



POKER DIRECTOR





Your poker tournament will have a poker tournament director along with an assistant and poker chip runners. Your director will give all the information to the players along with keeping time of the blinds and levels of each round. If you have any announcements that need to be made your director will be sure to announce it to all the players in the room. Chip runners will run chips to players that need change or need to re-buy.



ACCESSORIES





Each poker table will come with poker accessories such as top of the line poker cards "Copegs" a dealer button, cut cards, and custom denominated poker chips plus player seat cards and table numbers.



THE CLOCK





Your tournament will be organized with the latest poker tournament software that all the poker rooms use here and in Las Vegas. A 60" flat screen TV that is mounted on a crank stand that rises high enough so that all the players can see the Clock, Blinds, and Level.



PA/SOUND EQUIPMENT





A portable P/A (Sound System) will be provided for poker tournaments that have 5 table or more. The system includes 2 speakers on stands, a wireless michrophone, an ipod with pre-selected music and a mixer.



ADDITIONS & LIGHTING





If you think that the room the poker tournament is being held is too dark, we offer lighting that points down at the tables to brighten the playing filed for the players. Just let us know on the order form that you want "Pin Spot Lighting" and we will add it to your order.
